Needs a dual stick control option

Very bad controls

Great Graphics and really fun.

This game has a lot going for it, a typical remake of the fantastic classic Asteroids game. The only reason it doesnt have 5 stars from me is because of the poor controls. Im not able to move, shoot and rotate at the same time as easy as I should be able to. Still fun.

When I was reading the other reviews I said to myself, the controls cant be that bad. But when I went to play it I was surprised that theres no support for tilt controls. If this game had controls like Blue Attack! Where you tilt your device to steer the ship I think itd be a lot better. As of right now its hard to control your ship and shoot and play like you could in the original version of asteroids.

I like this game but hope it gets updated. As said in a prior review, the controls arent ideal. There are 3 different choices, but the positioning of the buttons are not comfortable to play. I have large hands and even I have a tough time with the layout. The buttons are too large and spaced too far apart. Make them smaller and closer together. The left/right buttons should be closer the corner and more easily reached. Id also like it better if the thrust and fire buttons were switched since we fire a lot more than thrust. A minor improvement wish is to have our fire extend through the other side of the screen as in the original Asteroids. But with that said, this is a nice modern take on a classic and it was worth my time to give some feedback. 5 stars with those improvements.

Latest updates are perfect. Slowed the rotation speed just a tad, and paled the controls closer together! Perfect! Little tweaks made all the difference. Buy this app. Its a blast!

Now its not so hard on my thumbs, since this update recently changed the button locations. They are much easier to reach now on the iPad. There really not a lot to this game, but that is what makes it great. Its simply Asteroids, but with an up to date look and feel. Just a challenging as the original. Asteroids was never an easy game, clearing every level is an achievement, especially as you get further in. Very frenetic, action, and constant threats of doom. This is a classy rendition of a classic arcade game. Dont miss out on Asteroid Dust.

Fun but kinda hard to control

A Updated Classic!

Just purchased the game and it is great,if your a asteroids fan then get this now.The only problem I have is not being able to have a d-pad or joystick option to place wherever I want,along with all the other buttons to my liking.With a dimmer option for brighter or darker.The last thing is the thrust button is a touch too sensitive,meaning a bit too powerful,if you could slow it down just a little.Overall great game,Get it now.THANX.

I love this game but the one thing that bugs me is that in the controls screen you have shields spelled wrong..you have it shEilds...can you fix that please

The last update seemed to have crashed it. Rebooting your iPad seems to fix it. But if you interrupt tour game by pressing the iPad button then try to go back and play, all you see is a black screen. Please fix this. When the game works it wonderful and very fun. Great homage to the original asteroids. Controls are funky. But just takes practice. Please fix the crashing.
